About Us

Overview

Virginia Beach Missions is a mission organization based in Virginia Beach, Virginia that provides opportunities for individuals who feel called by God to “Go and make disciples of all nations…” to participate on short term global mission trips and be discipled in their personal walk with the Lord. Individuals do not need to live in Virginia Beach to participate on a VBM trip- anyone is welcome to apply!

Purpose

The purpose of Virginia Beach Missions is to provide service trip opportunities that show the love of Jesus to marginalised communities through relationships, while expanding trip participants’ view of the Kingdom of God.

Meet Carmen

VBM is wholly owned and operated by Carmen M. Stuhlmann, a corporate attorney with a heart for missions. Carmen’s life has been shaped by missions from an early age, with her first trip at 12 years old. Most impactful to her was her first mission trip to the mainland of Honduras in 2008, where she was introduced to a clearer view of the Kingdom of God and his Kingdom culture.

Carmen is now on mission to live in “Kingdom Culture” and spread her knowledge and experience of Jesus’ love to those close to his heart — the poor, orphaned, widowed, and imprisoned.

Carmen was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and now lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with her husband, Joseph.
